Cryopreservation of semen
Sometimes in some pairs, sperm freezing is also recommended. In these cases the freezing of the sample is carried out using a suitable solution, which protects the sperm during freezing.
Sperm freezing is indicated:
– in men who have oligospermia or who may show differentiation in sperm parameters over time
– In cases where the man is about to undergo chemotherapy or radiotherapy
– In cases where the man has difficulty producing sperm or will be absent on the day of ovulation
– In progressive drop in sperm quality
