Fetal cryopreservation
Embryos can be frozen in a single IVF cycle, where untransferred excess embryos are frozen or can be frozen under an autonomous process for the purpose of subsequent use for conservation purposes fertility.
If the woman's cycle is mischievous, we may recommend a mild hormonal treatment, which will allow us to prepare the internal cavity of the uterus for the transport of the frozen embryo.
Cryopreservation of the fetus as a fertility preservation method
As there is a longer history of success with fetal freezing than egg freezing, women in a relationship may choose to undergo a ovarian stimulation process as well as a simple IVF cycle, Fertilize their eggs with their partner's sperm and store these embryos for later use. This may offer them a better chance of a successful pregnancy in the future than if they use their subsequent "fresh" eggs, which may lag behind both in quantity and quality.
Recent studies show that comparing fresh and frozen embryos of excellent quality, frozen embryos may actually lead to a better pregnancy outcome as well as a reduction in the chances of a labor complication such as Premature birth or restriction of fetal development.
